Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Sustainable Development Minister Noor Alkhulaif and Central Bank Governor Khalid Humaidan are confirmed as key speakers for the fourth edition of Fintech Forward 2026 next week at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), programmed by Forbes Middle East, and supported by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), the event will focus on the theme "Finance in the Age of Intelligent Infrastructure."
Across two days, the forum will examine how technology, infrastructure, and regulation are reshaping financial services, with agenda topics covering artificial intelligence, payments, asset tokenisation, open banking, and regulatory innovation.
More than 40 regional and global speakers including former Google X executive Mo Gawdat will participate, alongside an accompanying exhibition of 20 companies and government bodies showcasing financial technology solutions.
Financial services contribute 17.6 per cent of Bahrain's GDP, making it the kingdom's largest non-oil sector.
