The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has launched an enhanced Digital Enablement and AI Programme designed to accelerate digital transformation and adoption among Bahraini enterprises.
The initiative aims to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMaEs) across various sectors by facilitating the integration of advanced technologies that boost operational efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness in local and international markets.
Under the updated scheme, Tamkeen will cover up to 50 per cent of eligible costs related to software solutions and associated services, offering businesses greater flexibility and a broader range of options tailored to their operational needs.
The initiative aligns with Tamkeen’s 2026 strategic priorities, which focus on driving high-impact economic growth, enhancing private sector development, and creating career opportunities for Bahrainis by aligning skills with market demands.
