Nikki Beach Hospitality Group has appointed Rami Farhat as Pre-Opening General Manager of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Muscat, ahead of the luxury resort’s planned opening in 2027.
Farhat brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience
across the Middle East, having held senior positions with international brands
including Marriott International, Anantara, Avani and DoubleTree by Hilton.
His experience includes hotel openings, luxury resort
operations, sales and marketing, as well as extensive knowledge of Oman’s
hospitality market.
He has previously led the openings of DoubleTree by Hilton
Muscat Qurum and Avani Muscat Hotel & Suites, and oversaw the reopening of
Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, following a major renovation. He also
served as acting general manager of Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort and
director of sales and marketing at Al Bustan Palace.
Located at Yiti Bay in Muscat, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa
Muscat will comprise 170 keys, including 140 rooms and suites and 30 villas,
with views of the marina, gardens and beachfront.
The resort will feature Nikki Beach’s signature beach club,
Nikki Spa, Café Nikki, Escape Restaurant and The Reef children’s club,
alongside three swimming pools, a marina, sandy beach, gym and lobby lounge.
The property will also include meetings and events facilities and branded
residences.
Farhat will oversee the resort’s pre-opening preparations,
including operations, commercial strategy and team development, as the project
moves towards its 2027 launch.
“I am incredibly excited to join Nikki Beach Hospitality
Group at such an important moment for the brand’s growth in the region,” said
Rami Farhat, Pre-Opening General Manager of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa
Muscat. “Oman is a destination I know well, and what makes this project
particularly exciting is the opportunity to bring the Nikki Beach lifestyle to
a setting that feels so unique to Muscat. As part of The Sustainable City –
Yiti, we have the chance to create something that feels different within Oman’s
luxury hospitality landscape, bringing together the brand’s approach to dining,
music, entertainment and wellness with the natural beauty and character of the
destination. Over the coming months, I’m looking forward to building a great
team carefully rather than just filling positions, becoming part of the local
community, and creating a resort that feels unmistakably Nikki Beach while
truly belonging in Oman.”
The appointment comes as Nikki Beach expands its global Hotels & Resorts portfolio. The group has a pipeline of resorts and branded residences in destinations including Baku, Marrakech, Ras Al Khaimah and Antigua. -TTN
