A 40-year-old Indian expatriate has been arrested for allegedly murdering a 33-year-old compatriot in Salman Industrial City on October 8, the Interior Ministry announced on X.
The suspect allegedly planned the crime before intercepting the victim’s vehicle with the help of others, forcing him out and running him over, killing him at the scene.
Several other individuals allegedly involved in the incident have also been arrested, according to the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science.
Police launched an investigation and collected information and physical evidence that led to the identification and arrest of the main suspect.
Legal proceedings are underway to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
