Banagas conducts a joint fire exercise with the General Directorate of Civil Defence
As part of the Bahrain National Gas Company (BANAGAS) continuous efforts to develop a system for dealing with emergency situations and in continuation of the existing cooperation between Banagas and the Ministry of Interior represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the Company held a joint exercise on emergency situations in compressor station No. (7). The purpose of this exercise is testing and evaluating readiness and response in cases of Emergencies and measuring the effectiveness of the firefighting team and the support team in managing the emergency and evacuation process.
Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Company’s Chief Executive, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the General Directorate of Civil Defense for their continuous cooperation, and to everyone who participated and contributed in the success of this exercise. He continued by praising the great role adopted by the General Directorate of Civil Defense and all its affiliates to train industrial Company employees on how to manage emergency situations.
