On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Pakistan, Pakistan Embassy’s charge d’affaires Hasnain Yousaf expresses his heartfelt greetings to all Pakistanis living in Bahrain.
“March 23 is the day of commemorating the valiant struggle of our forefathers for a separate homeland under the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
“This noble struggle began with the historic Pakistan Resolution of 1940 and culminated in the attainment of freedom seven years later.
“March 23 provides us an opportunity every year to reflect upon our journey as a nation-state and contemplate about the future.
“We take pride in the excellent work being done by the overseas Pakistanis in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“They are working as a bridge between our two brotherly countries.
“Pakistanis in Bahrain are recognised as law-abiding, hardworking and friendly people.
“They are our true goodwill ambassadors.
“Pakistan and Bahrain are long-standing friends and share a special bond based on deep-rooted links that go far in history and time.
“The people of Pakistan hold the friendly people of the Kingdom of Bahrain in high esteem and on this cherished day, we reaffirm our resolve to further strengthen our friendly ties with the Kingdom of Bahrain in coming years and decades.
“Long Live Pakistan! Long Live Pakistan-Bahrain Friendship!
“Pakistan Zindabad.”
