The Health Ministry has announced the death of a 51-year-old Bahraini woman from Covid-19 today.
This takes today's tally to eight and the total number of fatalities to 760 in the kingdom.
Earlier today, the ministry had announced seven deaths, three Bahraini men aged 86,44 and 70 - two Bahraini women aged 47 and 64 and two expat men aged 55 and 62.
The ministry has expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
There are 16,179 active cases in Bahrain, of which 313 are receiving treatment and 173 are in critical condition.
