Bahrain and Pakistan are celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations. Bahrain’s Ambassador to Islamabad Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed praised strong relations binding the countries.
He recalled the visit of His Majesty King Hamad to Pakistan in 2014 and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Bahrain in 2019.
In a statement, the envoy stressed the importance of expanding trade, economic, investment, defence and scientific co-operation.
Meanwhile, Pakistani expatriates have commended Bahrainis’ hospitality and kindness, stressing keenness to support the kingdom’s development efforts.
They described Bahrain as a safe haven for expatriates, which guarantees residents’ rights and freedom to exercise their rituals and celebrate their national days.
