MANAMA: Family and friends are mourning the sudden death of 40-year-old Indian expatriate Biju Babu, in a Bahrain hospital yesterday.
He passed away at Salmaniya Medical Complex after struggling from serious complications following Covid-19, after being struck down with the virus five months ago.
Mr Babu, a former member of Bahrain Marthoma Parish, was employed by Silver Network Service and previously worked for Al Hilal Computers. A resident of Bahrain for 13 years, Mr Babu hailed from Bangalore. He is survived by his parents, wife Liji Susan John and eight-year-old daughter, Michael. His sister Bindu Sabu and brother-in-law Sabu Oommen also live in Bahrain.
