One of the leading Islamic banks in Bahrain recognised young Bahraini graduates of the Capital Markets Apprenticeship Programme.
The Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) received the students who took part in the Bahrain Bourse-organised apprenticeship, with KHCB chief executive Sattam Sulaiman Algosaibi congratulating the aspiring capital market leaders.
“We are proud to play an integral role in the success of this distinguished programme by providing sponsorship and support to the participating ambitious Bahraini youth, which was launched by Bahrain Bourse with the aim of preparing Bahraini cadres to enter the labour market, and providing them with the skills necessary to succeed and excel in the financial sector,” Mr Algosaibi added.
“I had the pleasure of meeting these students and listening to their experience and aspirations towards contributing to the financial sector’s development, wishing them all success in their professional careers.
“The bank is keen to support such quality programmes offered by Bahrain Bourse, as we also annually sponsor the ‘TradeQuest’ programme that the bourse holds for school and university students.”
The programme included training workshops on the capital markets sector, research methods, and financial analysis. The eight trainees also worked with decision-makers at the highest level, after being selected from amongst 470 candidates.
Participants have obtained a comprehensive practical experience to enhance their skills and knowledge about the Bahraini financial market and the capital markets sector.
