The 29-year-old Bahraini, who also threatened to publish the photographs on social media, has been found guilty of misusing telecommunication devices by the Lower Criminal Court yesterday.
The 25-year-old woman filed a case against him in July, claiming that the defendant had been inflicting tremendous emotional pain over the years.
The ex-convict was previously jailed for three years by the High Criminal Court for arson and assaulting policemen in 2015.
“The defendant was found guilty due to sufficient evidence against him,” read the court ruling.
