Saudi's popular smart city Neom has announced the launch of its first hackathon in partnership with the country's Education Ministry.
The first edition of the initiative is being organised by Neom's industrial city of Oxagon, Arab News reported.
The event will focus on four industries that reflect NEOM's industrial goals - technology in service of people, water innovation by developing sustainable solutions for water scarcity challenges, green hydrogen and e-fuels.
The hackathon will take place from October 6 to 8 in Riyadh, powered by Blossom Accelerator, Saudi’s first tech-inclusion and female-focused accelerator.
