Plan to turn Bahrain into ‘Orlando of the Gulf’
Around a decade ago or so we heard that before about Adhari being transformed into Disney or something like that by GCC investors, not sure what happened. I just hope things go well this time.
@ayman.k.a
I’m thinking something along the lines of Universal Studios.
@mo.alfahad
Exactly. We need more amusement parks like seriously Adhari Park is the only one and we all know how outdated it is.
@alt_15530
Too many malls. No need for any more. All the malls have the same thing, shops and food outlets. This would be very good for the country.
@dewaynebowen
It was my wish to enjoy the adventure rides of Orlando, I hope Bahrain can accomplish that wish for me.
@faizy4400
But NO seaworld with captive caught mammals like dolphins and sealions/seals.
@recyclepointsbh
It’s easy to say but it’s hard to do it.
@theartofvlogs
We are good at dreaming.
@muneerh_mahmood
It could be turned into a Heaven but we need 20% finance, 35% faith, 45% patriot contractors.
@adnan_khalil_
Just do indoor theme parks like Dubai.
@rezzkazz
No place in the world can be Orlando. They have so many attractions.
@bahrainvids
Finally! I’ve been saying it for years now. We got the empty plots of land, just be smart about those investments instead of more empty skyscrapers!
@ameersmeer
Yabeela at Al Liwan in Hamala and The Boulevard at Kubra Garden in Muharraq are much better.

Would be nice if they could replicate the garden parks over here. Bahrain caters to Saudi leisure-goers too, the tourism market will definitely flourish.
