A telephone call was held today between His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Anwar Ibrahim.
During the call, His Royal Highness and the Prime Minister of Malaysia reviewed the latest preparations for hosting 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, marking the 22nd edition of the event.
The event is being hosted by Malaysia with the blessings of His Majesty King Hamad and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.
His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation to the Prime Minister of Malaysia for the significant support and cooperation extended towards ensuring the success of this global sporting event.
During the call, the longstanding relations between Bahrain and Malaysia were discussed, as well as the continued cooperation and partnerships being made across various fields, in support of shared aspirations.
