Bahraini Habib Sabah clinched a silver medal in the Six-red World Snooker Championship after losing to Indian Shri Krishna by one game to five in the final of the tournament, held in Kuala Lumpur. Krishna took the lead winning the first frame but Habib Sabah managed to bounce back to equalise.
The Indian player then dominated the match and won four consecutive frames.
“I did my best to win the gold medal and honour the kingdom,” said Sabah, recognising the strong performance of his Indian opponent.
