A GRAND fashion extravaganza showcasing Indian textiles, handicrafts, artists and artisans is set to be held this weekend.
‘Alluring Bahrain 2023’ will take place on Friday at the Gulf Convention Centre at 8pm, and is expected to attract more than 350 guests, including ambassadors, corporate leaders, and socialites.
Supported by the Tourism Ministry, in collaboration with Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society and in media partnership with GDN Media, the event is being curated by Gait-N-Grace and is being held in association with Saara Group.
“Alluring Bahrain 2023 will bring together the best of fashion and showcase beautiful textiles and handicrafts with top models from India to create a unique, exclusive and glamorous event,” said Saara Group chief executive Mohammed Mansoor.
“Ours is also an event with a heart and we hope to give back to society by donating a part of the proceeds from the event to the Special Families Support (SFS) group which supports special needs children and their families.”
The children from the SFS group are also expected to perform during the event, which will also feature a designer showcase and ramp walk with celebrity models from India, including Alesia Raut, Montu Tomar, Deepti Gujral and Sugandha Roy.
In addition, Swechchha Singh and Pakistani actor Imran Abbas will be artists at the event, and Sonia Majeed will be singing.
