BAHRAIN won more medals at the 15th Pan Arab Games, being held in Oran, Algeria, with the athletics team bagging three gold and a silver, taking the kingdom’s tally to 20 medals, including 11 gold, four silver and five bronze.
Winfred Yavi won the women’s 3,000m steeplechase clocking 9:04.54 minutes, while Bontu Robitu won the women’s 10,000m in 31:40.02 mins.
The third gold was clinched by the Bahrain women’s team winning the 4x100m relay clocking 44.44 seconds.
The men claimed silver in the 4x100m relay clocking 40.19s.
