His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, yesterday received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
The meeting was attended by Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and senior officials.
His Majesty commended plans to develop all BDF branches and units.
He expressed appreciation for all BDF personnel and their dedication in carrying out their national duties.
They have contributed to the security of Bahrain and its citizens and to regional stability, as demonstrated through the many missions entrusted to them, he stressed.
Bahrain continues to advance its development process through the dedication of its people in serving the kingdom, His Majesty said.
