BBK announced the promotion of six employees, two of them women, to assistant general manager positions, highlighting its commitment to diversity and Bahraini talent.
The move comes as BBK prioritises a workforce that fosters diversity and inclusion and equips Bahrainis with the skills to excel in the banking sector. The bank offers training programmes and mentorship to prepare employees for leadership roles.
Those promoted include business development department head Mohammed Zainalabedin, real estate, services and trading department head Latifa Al Sadeh, contracting, building material and manufacturing department head Manaf Al Musawi, financial controller Mahmood Taher Taheri, communications, customer experience and sustainability head Zain Al Zayani, and chief information security officer Fathi Al Teraifi.
“This is a testament to their dedication and professional commitment,” said BBK group chief executive Dr AbdulRahman Saif. He emphasised BBK’s role in nurturing Bahraini talent, particularly women, to ensure their “full potential” is unlocked.
Hassaan Burshaid, group chief human resources and administration officer, stressed BBK’s focus on professional development through customised training and career plans. “We foster a stimulating and supportive workplace culture to inspire our team members,” he said.
