A COMMUNITY event will be held to mark the second anniversary of the expatriate support group Pravasi Legal Cell’s (PLC) Bahrain chapter.
The programme will be conducted at KIMSHEALTH auditorium tomorrow from 7pm.
Indian Ambassador Vinod Jacob will be the chief guest, alongside a distinguished panel of guests including Labour Ministry labour affairs assistant under-secretary Ahmed Al Hayki, MP Dr Hassan Bukhammas, Labour Market Regulatory Authority director of partnership and outreach Fahad Al Binali, and PLC global president and Indian supreme court advocate-on-record Jose Abraham.
A cultural programme ‘Threads of Justice: A Journey through Fashion Trends’ will be staged, with participants from seven nationalities showcasing diversity and cultural harmony.
The pinning ceremony for the new PLC Bahrain office bearers for 2024-25 will also take place.
The book cover for an upcoming publication that records the cases handled by the group will be unveiled, and the second edition of the Bahrain Chapter’s newsletter Bridge will be released as well.
Attendees can also benefit from a talk on kidney health by KIMSHEALTH consultant urologist Dr Mahesh Krishnaswamy. The event is open to all.
Since its inception, PLC has been dedicated to providing legal aid and advocacy for the expatriate community.
