A much-loved grandmother who arrived in Bahrain from India just three months ago to visit her family has died.
Rosamma Thomas passed away on Saturday following a heart attack.
The 67-year-old was in the kingdom with her husband, John, to visit their daughter, Siji and son-in-law Paul A T, as well as their three granddaughters aged seven, 12 and 14.
Prayers will be conducted at St Peter’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Manama today at 9.30am.
Her body will be repatriated to her hometown of Mukathala and her funeral is scheduled for March 14 at St Stephen’s Jacobite Syrian Church in India.
