Three girls, aged 14 to 16, were lured and sexually exploited via social media in three separate cases, the head of the Family and Child Prosecution Office announced. The cases came to light after reports from the Child Protection Unit in Cyberspace.
Investigations identified the accused, who confessed to communicating with the victims and sharing private photos.
They were detained for seven days pending further investigation, and the victims provided detailed testimony.
The official emphasised the necessity of parental supervision in protecting children from online dangers, calling for continuous monitoring and open communication about the risks associated with interacting with strangers.
