His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with the Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, and members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners, at Riffa Palace.
HRH was presented the 12th edition of the NIHR’s annual report.
HRH affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to advance initiatives that strengthen and uphold human rights, in support of the comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH commended the NIHR’s achievements under the leadership of HM the King, aligned with the National Action Charter, the Constitution, national laws and legislation, and international conventions on human rights.
Eng. Alderazi and the members of the NIHR Council of Commissioners expressed their appreciation for His Royal Highness’ unwavering support for the NIHR’s initiatives that advance human rights protections in the Kingdom and strengthens Bahrain’s global promotion of dignity, justice, and equality for all.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
