CEMENTING historic bilateral relations and promoting shared GCC objectives topped the agenda as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held high-level talks in Kuwait yesterday.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed the deep-rooted relations between the two countries as he met the Amir of Kuwait, Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
He emphasised the importance of further bolstering this strategic partnership to create opportunities that benefit both countries and their peoples.
HRH Prince Salman said these relations are underpinned by long-standing ties that continue to advance under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and the Amir of Kuwait.
He also held talks with Kuwaiti Crown Prince Shaikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah.
A lunch banquet was held by Shaikh Sabah in honour of HRH Prince Salman. Kuwaiti Prime Minister Shaikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah and several senior Kuwaiti officials also attended.
HRH Prince Salman later held talks with Shaikh Ahmad and commended the Bahrain-Kuwait strategic partnership, referencing the shared commitment to expanding co-operation across various sectors, particularly within the economic and investment fields.
Both countries reaffirmed efforts to advancing the GCC in line with the visions of its leaders.
