Five Metropolitan Police officers were injured after a police boat struck Westminster Bridge in central London on Friday.

Three officers were thrown from the vessel into the River Thames following the impact, before being rescued by nearby boats.
One officer has since been discharged from hospital, while the others sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
