His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has affirmed that Bahrain is constantly progressing, thanks to the unity of its people.
The King made the remark as he received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, in the presence of senior officials.
They reviewed several local affairs topics and efforts across various national sectors to further strengthen the achievements attained by the kingdom.
His Majesty praised the continuous efforts of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in advancing the national development process and achieving further accomplishments across all sectors through his close follow-up of government and development work.
The King also commended the significant and honourable role of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), the National Guard and the security authorities in confronting the criminal Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom’s territory.
He praised the high competence, courage and sincere determination demonstrated by Bahrain’s personnel across their various positions in protecting the kingdom and the safety of citizens.
“They are a shield for the kingdom in preserving its security, stability and civilisational and development achievements, and remain a source of pride and appreciation for the people of Bahrain,” he noted.
His Majesty expressed appreciation to all countries for their supportive positions towards the kingdom, their solidarity with Bahrain, and strong condemnation and rejection of the reprehensible Iranian aggression.
“These positions reflect the depth and strength of the historical ties and co-operation between the kingdom and those countries.”
The King affirmed that Bahrain will remain safe and stable, continuing steadily on its path of development and progress through the unity, solidarity and dedication of its citizens in serving the kingdom.
He added that the kingdom’s approach is to uphold the path of peace, expressing hope for security, peace, and stability across the region and the world.
