Jordanian air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralised five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) originating from Iran.
An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) said the defence systems engaged the incoming targets in accordance with standard operational procedures and established rules of engagement. Military authorities confirmed that the interceptions were completed without causing any casualties or structural damage on the ground, the Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
The General Command reaffirmed that air defence and surveillance units maintain continuous monitoring across national airspace. Operational readiness remains elevated to detect and counter any aerial threats to ensure the Kingdom’s territorial integrity and public safety.
