The Bahrain Defence Force will conduct the joint exercise “Bahrain Shield” from Tuesday, July 28 to Thursday, July 30, with the participation of brothers in the armed forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, with the aim of enhancing joint military action between the GCC countries, exchanging experiences and evaluating joint military action systems.
The participation of our brothers in the armed forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries embodies the Bahrain Defence Force’s interest in carrying out joint exercises to raise the levels of combat performance, which contributes to gaining more field experience and the ability to plan joint operations, creating a fertile environment for exchanging experiences and unifying concepts among the forces participating in the exercise, and working to strengthen the frameworks of joint military cooperation and coordination to confront various challenges.
