Videos of the unusual celebration went viral, dividing opinion online. Many criticised the decision to bring wild animals to the event, noting that they appeared distressed by the heat. Others simply reacted with amusement to the absurdity of the scene.
Although Libyan law prohibits the ownership of dangerous wild animals, it remains unclear whether authorities have taken any legal action against the creator.
