FUTSAL – ELC were crowned champions of the Bahrain Football Association’s (BFA) under-20 futsal tournament, played at the BFA’s futsal arena at Isa Sports City in Riffa.
ELC secured their title after defeating Tamkeen Youth Centre of Sanabis 4-3 on penalties in the final. The game was deadlocked at 1-1 at the end of regular time, setting the stage for the exciting shootout.
Following the contest, the awarding ceremony took place. The top two teams were presented their respective trophies and medals while a number of individual awardees were also honoured. In attendance were BFA futsal committee chairman Raed Baba and BFA futsal committee member Khaled Jaber.
