BEACH VOLLEYBALL – Ali Marhoon and Hassan Nasser bagged the gold medals in round two of the Bahrain Volleyball Association’s (BVA) national beach volleyball championship, played at the BVA headquarters’ premises at Isa Sports City in Riffa.
Marhoon and Nasser secured their title after beating Ali Hussain and Jaafar Al Jishi 2-0 in the final.
Joining them in the top three as bronze-medallists were Mohammed Mohsen and Ali Abdulwahed, who defeated Ahmed Jassim and Khaled Saud 2-1 in their final classification clash.
Following both contests, the top three pairings were awarded their respective medals by BVA national teams committee chairman Abduljalil Fateel and BVA beach volleyball committee chairman Sadeq Al Zaimour.
