BAHRAIN Olympic Committee vice-president and the kingdom’s delegation head at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa attended a reception hosted by the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) to mark Saudi Arabia’s National Day.
The reception was attended by Olympic Council of Asia president and Qatar Olympic Committee President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, and SOPC vice-president Prince Fahad bin Jalawi Al Saud. Shaikh Isa congratulated the leadership, government, and people of Saudi on the occasion, wishing the kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity.
He emphasised that Bahrain was pleased to join Saudi in celebrating the national occasion. Shaikh Isa affirmed that Bahrain-Saudi ties are rooted in deep historical bonds and extend across various domains, including sports.
