MMA – A decade into its existence, BRAVE Combat Federation has turned geographic expansion into one of the defining pillars of its identity.
Since its launch in 2016, BRAVE CF has staged more than 100 events across 39 countries, pursuing a model that goes far beyond establishing a handful of high-profile destinations.
Instead, the organisation has spent its first 10 years building an international network designed to give athletes, partners, and supporters access to a truly international mixed martial arts (MMA) platform.
That strategy has taken BRAVE CF into markets where MMA is still developing, often through partnerships with local federations and organisations.
Rather than simply bringing an event to a new country, the promotion works to establish lasting connections that can help strengthen the sport’s ecosystem and create pathways for regional talent.
“From the beginning, BRAVE CF was created to break down borders in MMA,” BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid said.
“We did not want to build an organisation that was confined to a few established markets. Our vision was to create a global platform where fighters from every region could have a pathway to compete on an international stage.”
Europe has emerged as a central pillar of that blueprint.
BRAVE CF has held events in countries across the continent, creating a reach that spans Western and Northern Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Baltic and Slavic regions.
Its European map includes England, Northern Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Lithuania, Belarus, Russia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Italy, and Spain.
The expansion, however, does not stop there. BRAVE CF’s international trail extends across the Middle East and Asia, with events in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the Philippines, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and China.
