His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today visited the Ministry of Information and the National Communication Centre (NCC).
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted that the continued development of the Kingdom’s media sector and ongoing efforts to enhance its efficiency, strengthening its readiness to keep pace with the rapidly evolving media landscape, in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for the national workforce at the Ministry of Information and the NCC, as well as the local press, for their commitment to carrying out their duties with efficiency and responsibility amid the hostile Iranian aggression against Bahrain.
His Royal Highness also commended their readiness and professionalism in addressing various challenges.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of the media’s role and its national responsibility in serving the Kingdom, raising awareness, strengthening national unity, and encouraging social cohesion.
His Royal Highness noted that the media plays a pivotal role in raising awareness, providing accurate information, and countering misinformation, especially during challenging times.
His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings and appreciation of HM the King to the national workforce at the Ministry of Information and the NCC, as well as the local press.
His Royal Highness commended the dedication and commitment demonstrated by the Ministry of Information and NCC personnel in carrying out their roles and responsibilities, as well as their swift response to developments and ability to address them efficiently.

His Royal Highness wished them continued success and further contributions in service of the Kingdom.
In addition, His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of working together as part of Team Bahrain, reflecting cooperation and integration across the national workforce to address challenges, enhance efficiency, and advance the Kingdom’s goals and aspirations.
His Royal Highness also met with the editors-in-chief of local newspapers, during which HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his thanks and appreciation to all those working in the Kingdom’s press sector for their dedicated efforts during the hostile Iranian aggression.
His Royal Highness commended the national responsibility demonstrated by journalists and the media, as well as their professionalism in covering developments, defending Bahrain, and addressing challenges and exceptional circumstances.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of continuing to develop the media sector further, while keeping pace with the rapid transformations taking place across the sector.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that these efforts contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Bahrain’s national media and strengthening its regional and international presence, while further consolidating the media sector’s position as a key contributor to Bahrain’s competitiveness.
During the visit, His Royal Highness was briefed on the workflows at the Ministry of Information and the NCC, as well as the recent efforts across their departments.
His Royal Highness also met with several officials and personnel working at the Ministry and the NCC, where HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was briefed on the key media and communications efforts that had been implemented. His Royal Highness commended their dedicated efforts in carrying out their national duties and serving the Kingdom.
For his part, Dr Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi, Minister of Information, expressed his pride, alongside all members of the media sector, in the recognition extended by His Majesty the King.
The Information Minister also expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’ visit and commendation of the national role undertaken by Bahrain’s media professionals and journalists, as well as the dedication and responsibility they demonstrated while carrying out their duties during the Kingdom’s response to the hostile Iranian aggression.
He affirmed that His Royal Highness’ commendation is a source of pride for all members of the media sector and an incentive to continue fulfilling their national responsibilities with professionalism and accountability, reflecting the high standards of Bahrain’s national media.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and a number of senior officials.
