The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s Community Footprint team recently marked World Cleanup Day at Budaiya Farmers Market.
The initiative was staged under the leadership of the hotel’s human resources director, Rasha Ghoul, to commemorate the occasion observed annually on September 20.
Working in collaboration with the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, employees from various departments collected waste while promoting awareness about the importance of protecting public spaces and preserving the natural environment for future generations.
The activity reflects the marque’s ongoing dedication to making a positive impact beyond its property through meaningful community outreach programmes and sustainability-driven initiatives.
“At The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, we believe that caring for our community and environment is a shared responsibility,” Ms Ghoul said.
“Through initiatives such as this, we aim to inspire our ladies and gentlemen to be active stewards of the environment and contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve,” she added.
