A UNIFIED GCC insurance policy has been proposed by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s transports and logistics committee.
Its chairman Abdulhakeem Al Shemmeri stressed the importance of the proposal and its prospect in streamlining the path of businesses in the transport and logistics sector, reinforcing the sector’s robustness, enhancing its contribution to the national economy, and augmenting trade and business activities amidst the GCC countries.
He also pledged to raise the proposal to relevant bodies including the Central Bank of Bahrain and insurance companies and probe its implementation.
