His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, met Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at AlShati Palace.
He highlighted the depth of historic relations between Bahrain and the UAE, noting that this deep bond continues to receive the full support of both His Majesty King Hamad, and UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
HRH Prince Salman extended the greetings of His Majesty to the UAE President and Crown Prince, wishing the UAE further progress and development.
He noted the strength of bilateral co-operation, which continues to be underpinned by a supportive, mutually beneficial partnership.
Crown Prince Shaikh Mohammed welcomed HRH Prince Salman to the UAE, emphasising the importance of further strengthening relations.
Regional and international developments, as well as bilateral efforts to face common challenges, were discussed. They also exchanged Ramadan and Eid wishes.
Later, the Crown Prince Prime Minister attended an Iftar banquet hosted by Crown Prince Mohammed.
HRH Prince Salman later left the UAE.
