A MAN is on trial for allegedly assaulting a car cleaner.
The Bahraini, aged in his 50s, was arrested after a video footage of the incident went viral on social media.
The man was seen arguing with an Asian worker before slapping him.
The victim collapsed as the alleged assailant walked away.
The Bahraini appeared at the Public Prosecution yesterday where he admitted to attacking his victim.
“The defendant was shown a video footage of the incident as evidence,” read the prosecution statement yesterday.
“He admitted to attacking the victim.” The defendant will appear at High Criminal Court next week.
