A MAJOR hypermarket in Bahrain has lined up a treat for lovers of all things Korean.
A special food festival opens at all LuLu Hypermarket branches today.
The “Haengboghan Syoping”, or “Happy Shopping”, offers a whole world of Korean culinary experience to shoppers.
Korean Ambassador Hae Kwan Chung will open the K-Food Festival at the hypermarket in Dana Mall which will also feature a Korean cultural musical performance.
Special Korean food ingredients will be on the shelves at LuLu Hypermarket in Dana Mall, Juffair Mall and at Atrium Mall in Saar.
The promotion which will run until November 17 is supported by the Korean Embassy.
The items on promotion include Korean food products such as Kimchi, Korean-style Pancake, Sweet Korean Pancake with customers being offered food sampling.
The hypermarket will also be offering a 30 per cent discount (offered as gift vouchers) on some food items imported exclusively with the help of the embassy.
The offer is open only for purchases of more than BD4.
