His Majesty The King issued Decree (89) of 2024, announcing a cabinet reshuffle, based on the proposal by the Prime Minister, as follows:
Article 1:
The following ministers are referred to retirement:
- Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi Transportation and Telecommunications Minister
- Osama bin Ahmed Al Asfoor, Social Development Minister
Article 2:
The following appointments are made:
- Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa as Transportation and Telecommunications Minister
- Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi as Social Development Minister
Article 3:
The Prime Minister shall implement the provision of this decree, which shall come into effect from its issuance and published in the Official Gazette.
