Under the glittering light of the world’s most significant jewels and watches, the doors of Jewellery Arabia 2025 swung open yesterday and the Bahrain Jewellery Centre (BJC) Pavilion is, as tradition dictates, the unchallenged epicentre of luxury.
Spanning a magnificent footprint, the exhibition’s largest, BJC has created a luminous visual gallery of global luxury brands.
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Jewellery Arabia, the Middle East’s premier fine jewellery and watch exhibition, has enthralled audiences on its 2025 debut at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB).
Speaking at the inauguration of BJC’s Pavilion director Mohammed Shirazi began the conversation with a tribute to the kingdom’s steadfast support: “We at BJC extend our heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad , and also to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who visited our Pavilion in Hall 6. This is the ultimate seal of approval and we are extremely appreciative.”
This year’s curation is a study in purposeful indulgence. Director Abbas Shirazi noted the collection’s deliberate scope: “We are truly excited about the BJC portfolio and the display of brands we have during the 33rd edition of Jewellery Arabia. It’s an atlas of global craftsmanship, an exquisite edit designed to resonate with the modern collector.”
BJC director Dina Shirazi offered a philosophical take on acquisition, guiding the eye toward permanence: “The finest pieces are never just purchases; they are chapters of a family’s story. We look for those true investment pieces that can be cherished and passed on, carrying their value, both intrinsic and emotional, from one generation to the next.”
Director Ahmed Shirazi distilled the ethos of BJC’s long-standing dedication to the event: “Jewellery Arabia is far more than an exhibition; it is our annual home. This platform allows us to personally connect with our most valued clients and present the absolute finest artistry the world has to offer, from iconic heritage pieces to the avant-garde of modern design.”
The beauty of the pavilion, however, lies in its capacity to cater to every heart. Director Layla Shirazi emphasised that luxury is not singular: “While the spectacular draws the eye, we have ensured there’s a magnificent piece at a price point for everyone. This year, we are especially thrilled to showcase the energy of several exciting new brands at the Pavilion joining us in 2025.”
New brands include Nigaam, David Morris, Tiffany & Co., ZENITH, Stone, damaso and Viltier.
Even the physical experience has been meticulously redesigned as director Sausan Shirazi revealed the intentional architecture behind the flow: “We’ve engineered a new spaced-out layout to provide a more optimal shopping experience.”
Celebrated for transforming individual visions into magnificent commissioned pieces, director Rahma Shirazi said: “The secret to success is always striving and aiming for greater goals. We are devoted to our brands, consistently catering to our clients’ needs by offering a wide range of choices and focusing on trending designs.”
Jewellery Arabia 2025 is expected to host more than 51,000 visitors from 60 countries over the course of the exhibition that runs until Saturday.
