His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, yesterday received Lieutenant-General Zac Stenning, Commander of the British Land Forces.
He expressed Bahrain’s pride in its long-standing and distinguished relations and close partnership with the United Kingdom, built on years of alliance, co-operation and joint co-ordination, particularly under the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which contributes to achieving shared goals.
His Majesty affirmed Bahrain’s continued commitment to developing these relations in all areas in support of the shared goals and interests of the two countries.
The King commended the vital role played by the UK internationally and its contributions to strengthening regional and global security, stability and peace.
The British commander expressed appreciation for His Majesty’s efforts to strengthen the partnership and enhance military and defence co-operation.
