The Cabinet has congratulated Saudi Arabia’s King, government and people on their national day.
The session, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, commended the achievements by the country under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the support of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Cabinet also welcomed Saudi Arabia’s efforts, in co-ordination with Oman, to invite a delegation from Sana’a to Riyadh to hold discussions in an effort to reach a compromise and permanent ceasefire in Yemen and a sustainable political solution acceptable to all parties.
The meeting also aims to strengthen and expand the humanitarian truce and discuss reaching a sustainable political solution acceptable to all Yemeni parties under the sponsorship of the United Nations.
The Cabinet reaffirmed the position of Bahrain in support of the Saudi initiative announced in March 2021.
In recognition of International Day of Peace, the Cabinet affirmed the kingdom’s commitment to promoting peace to achieve the shared goals of enhancing security and stability and establishing coexistence at the regional and global levels.
The Cabinet discussed several memorandums during the meeting, and approved several of them, including one submitted by the ministerial committee for financial and economic affairs and fiscal balance regarding the outcomes of the semi-annual closure of ministries and government agencies for the period ending on June 30.
Another memo was submitted by the ministerial committee for legal and legislative affairs regarding a draft decision to issue regulatory requirements for construction across various areas within Bahrain.
