An Indian social media influencer known for posting videos showcasing her gold jewellery and cash lost valuables worth around INR10 million (approx. BD39,400) after burglars broke into her home near Nagercoil, India.
Police said they are examining the influencer’s social media activity as part of their investigation after finding that several of her videos featured her jewellery and cash alongside details of family outings.

Madhumitha, 29, and her husband Vinoth Kumar left their home to travel to Tirunelveli for a shopping trip on Thursday.
They returned around midnight to find the front door locked from the inside.
Kumar went to the rear of the property and discovered that the back door had been forced open.
Inside, the family found their bedroom ransacked and a wardrobe forced open.
Police confirmed that 944g of gold and diamond jewellery, alongside INR50,000 (approx. BD200) in cash, were reported missing.
Investigations are ongoing to identify the burglars, with police analysing whether the posts helped the intruders establish when the home would be vacant.
