His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday received Italian Ambassador Andrea Catalano at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted that the longstanding relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and Italy continue to advance across various fields and areas of mutual interest.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the shared commitment to further strengthening co-operation, and to extending bilateral partnerships across a range of sectors that contribute towards achieving the ambitions of both countries and their peoples.
During the meeting, discussions also focused on regional developments and their implications for regional and international security and stability, in addition to issues of mutual interest.
For his part, the ambassador expressed his appreciation for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment to enhancing Bahrain-Italy relations in support of shared aspirations, wishing Bahrain continued growth and prosperity.
Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
