The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has officially opened applications for the second cohort of its prestigious Graduate Development Programme, ‘GP15.’
The rollout follows the massive success of the scheme’s inaugural edition, which drew more than 500 applications from across the kingdom.
Set to run from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, the intensive six-month programme provides an immersive, hands-on learning experience across various CBB directorates.
Selected participants will engage in project-based assignments, specialised workshops, targeted training modules, and field visits, alongside securing direct mentorship from top-tier financial sector leaders.
The ‘GP15’ programme will select exactly 15 high-calibre candidates through a rigorous process of competitive assessments and interviews.
To qualify, applicants must be Bahraini nationals holding a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university obtained between 2024 and 2026, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
“GP15 reflects the CBB’s continued focus on investing in national talent as a foundation for a more progressive and competitive financial services sector,” said CBB director of human resources and programme manager Fatema Mohamed Ali.
“We look forward to receiving applications from ambitious Bahraini graduates who wish to gain hands-on insight into the CBB’s operations, deepen their understanding of the sector, and build the skills needed to contribute towards its long-term growth.”
Applications must be submitted online between June 15 and July 31, 2026, via the central bank’s dedicated portal at www.cbb.gov.bh/gp15.
Additional programme details can be found on the CBB website and official social media channels.
