Qatar’s Ambassador to Bahrain Nasser bin Abdullah Al Nassr expressed sincere appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad for the condolences and heartfelt sentiments extended following the passing of the Father Amir of Qatar Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
He also expressed appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, members of the Royal Family, senior officials of the kingdom and all those who offered condolences to Qatar Amir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
In a statement, Ambassador Al Nassr said Bahrain’s support at the leadership, government and people levels reflects the deep-rooted fraternal relations and longstanding historical ties between the two countries and their peoples.
He also expressed appreciation for Bahrain’s declaration of mourning and the lowering of flags in honour of the late Father Amir, describing the gesture as a reflection of the strong and enduring ties between the two countries.
