The government has unveiled a “hybrid format” for reopening public and private schools for the new academic year 2020-2021.
Under the staggered approach, parents will have the choice either to send their children to school or learn online at home.
The Crown Prince directed the Education Ministry to undertake all measures and step up preparations for the new school year.
The ministry was also instructed to ensure a proper school environment when implementing the hybrid format for learning, said Cabinet secretary general Dr Yasser Al Nasser.
