You can now share and discuss your friends' music tastes directly on Spotify with the new direct messages feature, launching this week for users aged 16 and above.
The new feature allows Spotify users to text other users and share music with them directly within the platform.
'Spotify users have told us they want a dedicated space within the app to share songs, podcasts, or audiobooks they’re excited about with friends and family, and an easy way to keep track of recommendations,' Spotify said in a blog post.
The feature will be available for both Spotify Free and Premium users on mobile devices.
