Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and SCYS chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to organise the ‘Gadeha’ youth training camp.
The camp will be held from August 8 to September 3, at the World Exhibition Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid said the initiative reflects Shaikh Nasser’s vision of investing in the potential of Bahraini youth, developing their character, and instilling the values of discipline, responsibility, loyalty, and national belonging.
Shaikh Khalid described the ‘Gadeha’ camp as an advanced national model for youth development through a comprehensive training programme that combines physical, mental, and behavioural development.
He said the camp will strengthen leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence while equipping participants with practical skills that prepare them to contribute effectively to the kingdom’s development.
